GRP Motorsports and High Performance Lubricants join as partners for Aydin Lloyd
BRANDON, SD (March 13, 2024) - GRP Motorsports and High Performance lubricants will join as partners with Aydin Lloyd for his upcoming sprint car debut season in 2024!
After spending the the last year and a half on the road with Spencer Bayston and the CJB Motorsports team, Aydin Lloyd is looking to take that knowledge and experience working on cars and utilize that to build a car he can call his own. In 2024 Lloyd will compete in the IMCA RaceSaver division locally, making stops at Huset's Speedway, Rapid Speedway, and potentially a few others. As a driver, Aydin has previously competed in the micro-sprint ranks in 2022.
When asked about getting into a sprint car for the first time Aydin had to say, "It's always been a dream of mine to race sprint cars. Our family grew up just down the hill from Huset's Speedway, so to be able to compete at a tracks I've been a crew member at and my brother announced at is going to be pretty special."
Embarking on this journey with Aydin will be a couple partners who've had a storied history in sprint car racing. High Performance Lubricants and GRP Motorsports have joined the team during this rookie season and will appear on the 23 car all year long.
