Rapid Speedway
Week 3 Race Day!
Tonight we will have our weekly racing series of Lems Auto Recyclers Sportsmans, Sybesma Graphics USRA Hobby Stocks, J&L RV USRA B-Mods & Precision Auto Body USRA Stock Cars! (Please note that this is a change from our original schedule, we will not have MSTS 360 Sprints tonight) We will not be allowed to sell grandstand tickets tonight but our Speedway Bar & Concessions will be open! We have plenty of outdoor seating to spread out and all our food/condiments are individually wrapped for your convenience. You can only watch online via pay-per-view for $20 which can be found at https://advantageracing.tv/videos/6954 We will start hot laps at 7:00 with racing to follow!
DRIVER INFO:
Please enter the fairgrounds from the main entrance at the corner of Tama St & 5th Ave and go to the track office under the VIP to check-in! Each car is limited to 10 total people and we ask that you provide us with a list of names for your pit spot when you check-in. We will open the pit gate at 4:30 PM. We need a W-9 form filled out for every driver/owner for this year before you can check-in. You can find that at http://www.rockrapidsspeedway.com/downloads/get.aspx?i=199427 If you can, please have this filled out before you come to the track to speed up the registration process!
DRAW - We will do a draw/redraw for lineups tonight and it will all be done electronically. When you check-in we will have the website do the draw for you & then if you make the redraw, the website will again do the redraw, which we will put up on Facebook Live so you can watch it.
PIT STALLS - We will do our best to get you as close to your reserved pit stall as possible but we have to spread everyone out. Please understand that this will kind of be first come first serve as saving spots for cars may not always be possible in this situation. If you are pitted outside, you must have the MRP app downloaded to your phone so that you know the lineups!
COST - All pit passes are $30 and you must be 10 years of age or older to enter the pits. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parental consent form filled out which can be found at http://www.rockrapidsspeedway.com/downloads/get.aspx?i=34824 All USRA drivers need a USRA license, we can only sell temp licenses at the track and they are $10 per night.
DEADLINE - Driver registration will be cutoff at 6:30 PM sharp, NO EXCEPTIONS! If you can't be here before 6:30, please call ahead and we can check you in. The phone number is (712) 472-2067.
OTHER - The concession stands will be open on the inside & outside as well as the bathrooms. Pit crew members will be allowed to watch your race from the grandstands but they must leave and go back to your pit area after your race is over. Please maintain social distancing by staying 6 feet away from people whenever possible. We are not requiring masks to be worn but it is highly recommended to have one with you and use it when needed!
