Barber makes it 9 winners in 9 races for Minnesota Mafia
On a warm sticky night, 15 cars made the tow to Rapid Speedway for race #9. Heat Winners were Dusty Ballenger, and Jody Rosenboom. Point leader Kaley Gharst took a nasty ride in the heat race ending his night and giving up the point lead to Gregg Bakker. The top 8 in passing points would be invited to the front stretch to take part in the revenge redraw, which seen Ryan Bickett, and Kevin Flowers on the front row. Flowers would jump out to an early lead, hard charging Dusty Ballenger was making a bit for the lead when there was contact ending Flowers night and sending Ballenger pit side with a flat tire. Tommy Barber would inherit the lead and never gave it back, despite late race pressure from Gregg Bakker who finished second, and Ballenger rebounded to finish third.
