Races This Friday, 1st of June!
Mother Nature won again last Friday, but it is looking like we will be A-OK this Friday! We will be having our first regular season event this Friday, the 1st of June. It is going to be very exciting to see how many Heartland Racing Association Sportsman's we get at the track. We have received many calls and emails about drivers bringing their cars; we'll find out Friday! On the menu for Rapid Speedway this Friday will be the Precision Auto Body USRA Stock Cars, Pizza Ranch of Rock Rapids USRA B-Modifieds, Driver Websites USRA Hobby Stocks, the HRA Sportsman's and the exciting Heartland Racing Association Traditional Non-Wing Sprint Cars!
Races start at 7:30 PM, with the Pit Gate opening up at 5 and Hot Laps are at 7:00 PM. Adults are $9.00, kids are $2.00, and season pass holders will get the option of hanging out in the VIP!! Season Pass holders will have the luxury of utilizing the VIP throughout different times of the year, so it's just one extra perk for having a Season Pass! Those dates are not set, and will be at random times throughout the year.
Remember the Season Passes will be available for purchase this weekend. They are only $150, and they will get you into every show at Rapid Speedway with the exception of our July 6th ASCS National Sprint Car event in which your season pass will get you $10.00 off a general admission ticket! The Rapid Speedway Season Passes will also get you $2.00 off any buffet at the Pizza Ranch of Rock Rapids on Friday race day! Over an $80 savings, and more if you count the times you can sit in the VIP!
Next week for the 8th of June, Rapid Speedway will be holding our Stock Car Special, Presented by Precision Auto of Rock Rapids. We will not be having the HRA Non-Winged Sprint Cars as they will be at Clay County Speedway in Spencer, Iowa supporting Craig Dollansky's World of Outlaw Sprint Car event. Certainly an exciting time for the drivers of the HRA Non-Winged Sprint Cars!
