Already responsible for authoring a majority of the American Sprint Car Series record books, Gary Wright returns in full force to pursue an unprecedented fifth Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series presented by K&N Filters championship in 2009.
And this year, he'll add an "x" to his familiar number "9" as he has joined forces with Scott Brown's Lubbock Wrecker Service team in a quest for the $60,000 series championship.

The winningest driver in series history with 124 career National wins, "The Texan" settled for runner-up honors in 2008 points after stringing together four consecutive championships from 2004 through 2007.
